Danesh Rana is from St. John's, Newfoundland. He attended Memorial University, obtaining a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Math. He then attended the University of New Brunswick for law school. While pursuing his Law degree, Danesh volunteered at the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission.
Prior to joining SKS Law LLP in 2017, Danesh operated his own law firm and then worked at a mid-size regional Ottawa law firm for 9 years. His practice focuses mainly in the areas of civil litigation, with an emphasis on employment law, personal injury, commercial litigation and insurance work. Danesh has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, and the OCRT for CPP Hearings.
Danesh volunteers with both Law Help Ontario and REACH Canada. In his spare time Danesh enjoys basketball, squash, 'attempting' to golf, and playing in a trivia league.
