About Shelbi

Shelbi Dippold is an Associate at SKS Law LLP with a practice focused on corporate law, estate and succession planning, and civil litigation.

Shelbi joined the SKS team in 2016 as a clerk while completing the National Committee of Accreditation process and completed her articles with the firm in 2017. Shelbi was called to the bar and joined SKS as an Associate in June 2018.

Shelbi earned her law degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. Shelbi was on the executive board of the Canadian Law Society at the University of Leicester and was tasked with training, coaching and organizing all moot court competitions for the Canadian law students. While obtaining her undergraduate degree at Carleton University, she also contributed to the creation of the Capital Cup, a national moot court competition for aspiring lawyers at the undergraduate level.

Outside of practicing law, Shelbi enjoys volunteering with various animal rescue organizations in the Ottawa area or throwing on her hiking boots and exploring the Ottawa valley with her dog.
