About Steven
Steve's extensive experience in financing and commercial real estate matters has developed into a new business law and commercial practice wherein he provides regular advice to various businesses.
Steve aspires to be a trusted advisor to each and every one of the firm's clients. This means earning trust through hard work, responsiveness and attention to detail; the philosophy that all lawyers at SKS Law adhere to. It also means carefully consulting with and understanding the needs of his clients first, in order to deliver personalized legal advice and options. Steve consults regularly with other SKS team members in other legal areas to ensure the firm's clients get the well rounded and complete advice they need.
Steve's primary area of practice is real estate, and he regularly assist clients with all types of real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, commercial leasing, planning, land development, construction and all related matters. Tied closely to Steve's real estate practice is his business law practice, wherein he provides corporate and commercial advice to a variety of businesses, from large corporations, to smaller, family run operations.
Steve graduated from the University of New Brunswick Law School in 2003 after completing his Master of Arts (Memorial University of Newfoundland - Newfoundland/Limerick University – Ireland) Steve has practiced law in Ottawa in private practice since his call to the bar in 2004.
