As a partner at SKS Law LLP, Jason Shelly focuses his practice on corporate and commercial law, municipal and land use planning and estate and succession planning. Jason also assists his clients with various types of disputes. Jason is a trusted advisor to individuals, businesses and municipalities, providing practical and strategic solutions tailored to their unique needs and objectives.
After being called to the Ontario Bar in 2002, followed by the New York Bar in 2003, Jason worked in investment banking in Europe providing legal guidance on capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. Jason’s legal experience also spans the United States, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Prior to being called to the Ontario Bar, Jason worked for the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Canada.
Outside of work Jason is an avid skier and enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. Jason is fluently bilingual offering legal services in both English and French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
