Shelbi Dippold is a Partner at SKS Law LLP and a valued member of the firm, having joined SKS in 2016 as a clerk while completing the National Committee of Accreditation process. Driven by a strong commitment to the practice of law, Shelbi completed her articles with the firm in 2017 and, following her call to the Bar, joined SKS Law LLP as an associate in June 2018. In recognition of her contributions, leadership, and dedication to client service, Shelbi joined the partnership in January, 2026.
Shelbi is known for her practical, client-focused approach and her ability to demystify complex legal concepts. She prides herself on taking the “legalese” out of the legal process and ensuring clients fully understand the issues and options before them. As a member of both the Firm’s Corporate and Estate practice groups, she provides strategic and thoughtful guidance tailored to each client’s objectives.
Shelbi advises clients across a broad range of matters, including corporate governance, business structuring and reorganizations, estate administration, trust and capacity issues, and estate litigation. She also regularly represents clients before the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice.
Outside of her legal practice, Shelbi can often be found enjoying the outdoors—skiing, skating, hiking, or running the trails of the Ottawa Valley with her husband and her dog—or cozied up with a good book.
